The Butch Project was created by in March 2010 because butches need to connect. We need to share stories. We need to create an anthology, develop a community, and present a source of inspiration for those queer women in a new generation who are facing discouragement as butches. We need to expand and integrate our stories so that one day this anthology, this project, will serve to give a better understanding of the "butch" community.
