Family Expectations
At the U I will be double majoring in International Business and Entrepreneurial Management. Studying International Business requires a second language. Chinese is the language I have chosen to study. I chose Chinese for two reasons. The first reason is that I was sick of Spanish and I thought with the direction the economy is heading towards Chinese would be beneficial. The second reason is that my family has a joint venture in China. I want to be able to understand more about and be able to communicate with the people when I visit the plant. However, with these decisions it now seems I am being thrust into becoming the next President of the company. After I put in my six years I will have to decided between pursuing my own dreams, pursuing the dreams my family has, or pursuing them both.
