"Development Reconsidered" IPID Speaker Series

"Development Reconsidered" is an exciting speaker series being hosted by an interdisciplinary group of U of MN graduate students. The speaker series is intended to promote a critical reexamination of the field of international development and the future of development programs.

The speaker series is part of the Interdisciplinary Perspectives on International Development (IPID) project. IPID is a student-led initiative that brings together graduate students from across the university who are actively engaged in development studies. A core team of students from the Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development, the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs, and the College of Continuing Education launched the IPID Project in the spring of 2009. Graduate students from other colleges and departments have since joined the project. The speaker series is made possible with support from the Universityʼs Office of Interdisciplinary Initiatives.
