Description: The New York Centre for Conflict Dialogue (CCDNY) is now accepting applications for the Stability Assessment Framework Workshop that will be held between 18-22 October 2010 at the UN Millennium Hotel in New York. The workshop will be conducted in collaboration with the Netherlands Institute of International Relations Clingendael.
The specific aim of the workshop is to familiarize participants with the methodology of the Stability Assessment Framework (SAF), as developed by the Clingendael Conflict Research Unit (CRU).
The SAF offers an analytical tool for stability analysis and strategic planning that helps develop the institutional capacities needed for an integrated policy response in a particular country. Policymakers, decision-makers, and practitioners working in various organizations can benefit from introducing the SAF in their own organization's project cycle.
