dTS is a strategic management consulting firm leading initiatives in social and economic development worldwide with a view to promoting equality and accountability. In recent years, dTS has worked in over 30 countries and provided gender integration, training and capacity building, and monitoring and evaluation services to USAID and the World Bank.
dTS is seeking a Project Director for an upcoming Evaluation of Humanitarian Assistance to Colombian Refugees in Ecuador and Somali Refugees in Kenya. The Project Director should meet the following qualifications:
§ Advanced degree in Humanitarian Law, International Law or International Development with a focus on Migration
§ Minimum of 10 years of managing international development programs including experience with humanitarian assistance, vulnerable groups and/or refugees, with a focus on education, livelihoods and protection (required)
§ Minimum of 5-7 experience designing and implementing M&E results frameworks and monitoring large donor programs (required)
§ Demonstrated urban refugee experience
§ Experience working in Latin America and the Caribbean and/or Ecuador (strongly preferred)
§ Experience working in East Africa and/or Kenya (strongly preferred)
§ Previous experience working with DOS/BPRM, UNHCR is preferred
§ Detail oriented and organized
§ Strong communicator, both verbally and in writing
§ Ability to establish strong working relationships implementing partners and training participants.
§ Good problem solving skills
§ Team oriented individual
§ High level of proficiency in MS Office applications and databases
