Title: Associate, Bids & Recruitment
Duration: Full time Position (with full benefits) - immediately available
Location: Arlington, Virginia

dTS provides services in social and economic development with a view to integrating the concerns of vulnerable populations including women and youth worldwide. The Manager will coordinate and be responsible for new business development activities (including marketing and proposal development) and all recruitment efforts.
Business Development (about 90%)
* Manage proposal schedule, requirements and deliverables
* Identify prime/subcontractors and maintain liaison
* Manage and lead the recruitment function for proposals and projects
* Identify, recruit and negotiate with personnel
* Write and edit sections of technical proposals
* Coordinate the cost proposal submission, including completing the certifications and pricing
* Represent the firm at client and partner meetings
Research, Training and Technical Assistance Support (10%)
* Conduct research activities and analysis for specified countries or issues
* Support research, training and technical assistance for projects
Qualifications for the Position:
* Masters with 1-3 years experience (or equivalent education/experience combination) in international development or related field
* Experience working on USAID proposals including on recruitment
* Self-starter
* Detail oriented and organized
* Demonstrated competence to assess priorities, manage a variety of activities effectively to meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality
* Strong communicator, both verbally and in writing
* Good problem solving skills
* Team oriented individual
* Experienced with Microsoft Excel and Word
