Global Planners Network Exchange (GPNX)
The Global Planners Network Exchange (GPNX) is a vital resource for the global planning community. Engaged citizens, private practitioners, public practitioners, researchers at academic institutions, research institutes, and NGOs may post and search for information about current practices, needs and research affecting urban and regional planning throughout the world.
GPNX is a self-managed, web-based portal sponsored by the American Planning Association on behalf of GPN. It is open to everyone without regard to membership in APA or any other association. In GPNX, planners and engaged citizens create their own user accounts; post information about best practices or projects in progress, post inquiries regarding needs or capabilities; and are able to return to update, edit, or archive projects as information changes. Users may search the database by keywords, name of contributor, and name of institution to locate brief descriptions of current and recently completed projects in their fields of interest.
In order to list a project, you will be asked to log in with your 6-digit APA ID #.
If you are a non-member, you may create a free login to access GPNX.
We strive to maintain high-quality, relevant data of interest to our audience of practicing planners, engaged citizens and academics. Therefore, listings in GPNX are open to projects conducted by planning agencies, planning firms, universities, research institutes, or non-governmental organizations with relevance to urban and regional planning and related fields.
Contact gpnx(at)planning.org if you have questions or need assistance with your project listing.
