Toward Sustainable Development in Sierra Leone: Monitoring and Evaluating Progress

Rachel Garaghty, Patricia Lee and Paul Vliem,
The OneVillage Partners Global Capstone Team, Humphrey School of Public Affairs

Onevillage Partners is a Minneapolis-based development organization working in the villages of Jokibu, Foindu, and Pujehun in eastern Sierra Leone. The organization takes a comprehensive and holistic approach to poverty elimination by cutting across the five program areas of income generation, agriculture, water and sanitation, education and health to eliminate poverty. OneVillage Partners has asked a team of students from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs to develop monitoring tools and an evaluation plan to assist in tracking its work and targeting its anticipated outcomes. Join us for this week's brown bag to hear more about our work and come help us get to Sierra Leone!
