March 2011 marks the 100th anniversary of International Women's Day, a global holiday celebrating the role of women in society. Globally, women continue to take primary responsibility for caring for their families and the land. In many countries women grow 75% of the food people eat and are on the frontlines of the fight to end hunger and preserve the environment. IWD Hunger Banquet flyer, MN 2+-1.doc
