All internships (part-time or full-time) will accommodate a flexible schedule and are unpaid. Communications Internship
The Alliance for Peacebuilding is seeking interns for the summer semester of 2011.

Job Duties:
• Assist the President & CEO as needed
• Assist the Membership & Operations Manager as needed
• Maintain social networks (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
• Post news, jobs and events to the Peacebuilders' Forum
• Database maintenance and data entry
• Website editing
• Attend area events/meetings

Qualifications:
• Three years completed college coursework
• Strong computer skills, including internet research and some web development experience. Knowledge of yourmembership.com membership software a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office desirable, especially Excel
• Positive attitude and an ability to engage with a wide variety of people
• Enthusiasm and commitment to the missions of the organization
• Proactive, independent and team-oriented work ethic
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Interest/background in peace studies or conflict resolution

Fundraising & Development Internship
The Alliance for Peacebuilding is seeking interns for the spring semester of 2011.

Job Duties:
• Assist the President & CEO as needed
• Assist the Membership & Operations Manager with database maintenance and clean-up of fundraising database
• Data entry
• Attending area events/meetings and taking notes

Qualifications:
• Three years completed college coursework
• Strong computer skills, including internet research and some web development experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office desirable, especially Excel
• Knowledge of GiftWorks Fundraising software a plus.
• Positive attitude and an ability to engage with a wide variety of people
• Enthusiasm and commitment to the missions of the organization
• Proactive, independent and team-oriented work ethic
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Interest/background in peace studies or conflict resolution
