Description: Pax Mondial, a commercial provider of operational support, stabilization, and development services in high-risk countries and emerging markets, is requesting applications for a Conflict Resolution & Emergency Response intern position. The part-time intern will report to the Director of Conflict Mitigation and participate in tasks relating to several Pax departments including Conflict Mitigation, Stabilization & Development, and Specialist Training & Capacity Building. Responsibilities will include:
*Conflict resolution research and material preparation.
*Cultural awareness research and material preparation.
*Investigative research on target countries and issue areas as designated by supervisor.
*Identification of business opportunities.
*Assistance in logistics for emergency response teams.
*Assistance in development of training modules.
*Assistance in relevant communication and marketing efforts.
*Other contributions as necessary.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess:
* At least a Bachelor's Degree and some graduate-level academic work;
* An established interest and some experience in the fields of conflict resolution and international development; and
* Excellent research, writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
