The Global Spotlight is pleased to announce a call for proposals for the inaugural international research conference, Addressing Global Challenges through International Research, to be held on February 17, 2012, at Coffman Memorial Union on the Twin Cities campus.
Call for Proposals
Faculty, researchers, and graduate students from across the University of Minnesota system are invited to submit conference proposals or concept papers for panels, symposia, roundtable discussions, and poster sessions. A committee of peers will review the proposals. Full submission guidelines and presentation proposal form can be found on the conference website.
Deadline for Proposals: Nov. 15, 2011 (deadline extended)
Online Registration Opens: Nov. 1, 2011
Program Decisions: Dec. 2, 2011
This conference will highlight global research by University of Minnesota faculty, researchers, and graduate students and encourage discussion on the diverse global challenges, with focus on building collaboration across disciplines, shared learning, and exploring the essentials of conducting research abroad.
