Call for Proposals: Inaugural International Research Conference Addressing Global Challenges through International Research
February 17, 2012 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (registration begins at 8 a.m.)
Coffman Memorial Union, Twin Cities campus
Faculty, researchers, and graduate students from across the University of Minnesota system are invited to submit conference proposals or concept papers for panels, symposia, roundtable discussions, and poster sessions. A committee of University of Minnesota peers will review the proposals. Areas of the global challenges are not limited to the major themes of Food Security and Agricultural production, Global Health, Economics and Poverty, Education, Energy and the Environment, and Global Governance.
Deadline for proposals is November 15, 2011.
This conference will highlight global research by University of Minnesota faculty, researchers, and graduate students and encourage discussion on diverse global challenges, with a focus on building collaboration across disciplines, shared learning, and exploring the essentials of conducting research abroad.
