I'm very pleased to announce that Ms. Ameido Amevor has volunteered to serve as student administrator for Global Notes this year. As you may know, Global Notes was started in late 2008 by HHH alum Graham Lampa (thank you!), but it languished for a year until reorganized and run for more than a year by HHH student Rachel Garaghty (thank you!) who is still an administrator, if she wants (until she graduates). Last year, HHH student Joshua Smuda (thank you!) helped.
Also, HHH staff member Barbara Sullivan became an administrator on Global Notes last summer and I'm not sure if I announced this. It is really helpful to have her assistance, thank you!
Ameido Amevor is a first year Master of Public Policy student. She is from Togo, and is interested in global policy with emphasis in international development, food security, and sustainable agriculture issues in the global south.
Please feel free to send your ideas for changes or posting suggestions to her: amev0001(at)umn.edu
Welcome Ameido!
