Once again, MIGA (Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency of the World Bank Group) is open to receive applications for the MIGA Professionals Program. This is our third year and the program has been a tremendous success. In the first 2 years we hired 5 people, spread among 3 of MIGA's departments. This year we are adding 2 additional tracks to the possibilities for which we are seeking applicants. Once again we are looking for new and diverse talent to join MIGA for a non-renewable 2 year term contract.
As we review the successful hires of the past 2 years, we can share the following: although the minimum qualification is an advanced degree and 5 years of directly related professional experience, the 5 hires have had an average of 7+ years of experience in addition to their advanced degree. Therefore, we ask that you bring these positions to the attention of your qualified alumni as well as students completing their masters or PhD with the required amount of experience. Deadline for applications is December 5; selected candidates will start after July 1, 2012.
