MPP Student Duane Johnson will be embarking on a study abroad program in Brazil at the University of São Paulo next semester. He received a grant from the U.S. Department of Education's Funding for Improving Post Secondary Education. Under the supervision of the University of São Paulo's School of Economics, Business, and Accounting, he will be doing research for his professional paper on conditional cash transfer programs in Latin America.
This is Duane's second study abroad program since enrolling at Humphrey. Last summer, he attended the International Summer School in Norway at the University of Oslo.
