Women in War Zones is a grassroots humanitarian organization working in the protection of women's health and human rights in areas of conflict around the world. Our Wamu Project in the Democratic Republic of Congo provides literacy, therapy and economic opportunity to women who have survived gender based violence as a result of the conflict there.
