Introduction to Chinese Language & Culture for Business (1 day course)


Learn Chinese in the Year of the Dragon!

8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., followed by lunch at the Tea House
Location: University of Minnesota Twin Cities, University International Center, room 101
Instructor: Confucius Institute Instructor
Course fee: $125 per person - includes instruction, materials, lunch at the Tea House

Program Information:

This half-day Chinese language and culture orientation offers both an introduction to Mandarin, and basic cross-cultural training for business. You will learn to use appropriate expressions for:

greeting and introducing people
hosting and receiving guests
dining and toasting in a business setting
bargaining and networking

At the end of the class session, you'll have the opportunity to put your skills to use over lunch at the Tea House.
