I recently received information about several Chinese movies that will be showing in the Twin Cities area, which I'm passing along to you. Teachers may want to share this information with families or students. However, I do not know if they are appropriate for all audiences. Enjoy the movies!
Let the Bullets Fly
LET THE BULLETS FLY (让子弹飞), the newest film from award-winning director Jiang Wen, starring Chow Yun-Fat, Carina Lau, and Ge You is currently the highest grossing domestic film of all time in China, and it was announced recently that it's the frontrunner with the most nominations for this year's Hong Kong Film Awards. The film will be showing at the Minneapolis at the St. Anthony Main Theatre beginning on March 23rd 2012. The trailer is currently on iTunes, and you can also Like the film on Facebook (www.facebook.com/LetTheBulletsFly) or visit the official website (www.letthebulletsfly.wellgomovies.com/) for updates and more information. If you would be interested in organizing a group to go to a screening (and receiving a discounted group rate on tickets), I'd be happy to get you more details. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
