Acara course for Fall 2012: Design for Sustainable Development; real world situation, real solutions

Here is the announcement for this Fall course. Feel free to circulate as you see fit. This course will also be offered in the Spring, as we have been discussing. A number of HHH students have participated in the past, including MPP Duane Johnson.

Are you looking for a way to get experience working on a global team? On a challenging problem? To exercise the business or technical skills you have been learning? Then CE5571: Design for Sustainable Development is the course for you. Students will experience a real world situation and seek solutions to a problem -- solutions that are creative, sustainable, and have real impact. Program structure will reflect that important problems require teamwork, leadership, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

In addition, there are ways to continue to lead and develop your ideas, after the coursework ends, including travel to India.
