Congratulations to Global Deaf Connection project capstone team of MPP students Logan Dumaine, Ashley Heerema, Sulia Makasini, Olga Reshetova, and Sarah Yeo on receiving a Council on Graduate Students (COGS) grant to reimburse part of their March travel to Jamaica.
From the award letter:
"We are pleased to announce that we (the Council of Graduate Students) have partnered with the Graduate School in order to increase the pool of travel grant funding available to graduate students for the 2011-2012 school year. The graduate school has funding available for funding travel to present at conferences.This has allowed COGS to expand the reach of our program; by partnering with the Graduate School a total of $40000 will go to fund student travel. This means that we will be able to fund the global deaf connection capstone project!"
