Mothering and Prostitution Featuring: Dr. Einat Peled, Senior Lecturer,
Bob Shapell School of Social Work, Tel Aviv University

Prof. Peled's studies of domestic violence and violence against women deal with mothering and fathering under circumstances of violence, girls in distress, and prostitution, and with the development of responsible, useful and effective practice models in these domains. As a qualitative researcher, she focuses on the experiences of the women she studies. She serves as the chair of the board of directors of "Ru`ach Nashit" (Women's Spirit), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting financial autonomy and economic self-reliance among women victims of violence.
