SUMMARY OF POSITION To conduct evaluation of a media development program in Southern Africa.

a) The consultant will work closely with program staff in designing a plan for evaluation.

b) The consultant will conduct desk review and conduct in-depth interviews with program staff, local partners and stakeholders.

c) The consultant will write an evaluation report detailing successes, challenges and opportunities for the program.

1. Program evaluator with 4 or more years of experience evaluating international development programs, especially in the areas of media development and D&G.

2. Experience working in restrictive media environments preferred.
