Consultancy: UN Women, in partnership with the Peacebuilding Support Office seeking contractor to desig and facilitate a training on gender responsive peacebuilding
UN Women, in partnership with the Peacebuilding Support Office, is seeking the services of an independent contractor to design, building and facilitate a one week training in New York, USA on gender-responsive peacebuilding for UN field practitioners.
The contractor will be expected to develop modules for a specialized workshop on women/gender equality, peace and security programming and policy developments, with a half day dedicated to programme monitoring and evaluation in peacebuilding contexts. The workshop will be roughly four days long (to be finalized with UN Women and PBSO), with different sessions led by UN and academic practitioners on peacebuilding. The sessions of the workshop will focus on the latest policy and political developments and programming on economic recovery, fragile state governance, rule of law, conflict-related sexual violence, gender-responsive mediation, and women's engagement in post-conflict planning, needs assessments, donor conferences and financing.
