Fall 2012 Chinese Classes at the UMN Confucius Institute

Happy Fall from the Confucius Institute!

A friendly reminder that our Fall 2012 course offerings are now listed on the Confucius Institute website. We are currently taking registrations through next Friday, September 15th. This semester's classes will start on September 24, 2012, and end on December 6, 2012.

We are offering something for everyone this semester, from Beginning Chinese 1 for absolute beginners, to Chinese Rehab for those with advanced skills. We are using a new textbook series and have updated our curricula, so be sure to check out our website to choose the class best suited to your needs. http://confucius.umn.edu/students/classes/ Unsure which class is best for you? Take one of the new placement tests found on our website under each course level, and send it in. One of our Chinese instructors will go over the results with you to help you choose the class best suited to your level.

This Fall, we will be offering:

Beginning Chinese 1 on Tuesdays, 6-7:30 pm
Beginning Chinese 2 on Wednesdays, 6-7:30 pm
Beginning Chinese 3 on Mondays, 6-7:30 pm
Intermediate Chinese 1 on Tuesdays, 6-7:30 pm
Intermediate Chinese 2 on Mondays, 6-7:30 pm
NEW! Intermediate Chinese 3 on Thursdays, 6-7:30 pm
Chinese Rehab on Wednesdays, 6-7 pm

As always, the fee for the semester is only $200, with the exception of Chinese Rehab, which is only $130.

We are always happy to answer questions and address concerns. Please do not hesitate to contact us at 612-625-5210.

We look forward to seeing you in class!
