Humphrey Fellow Alum Mesut Senol initiates new international literary magazine

Mesut Presenter.jpgIn March 2013 Mr. Mesut Senol has initiated the publication of an international literary magazine Called ROSETTA LITERATURA to introduce literature of the countries all over the world to one another. The unique aspect of the magazine is its featuring the works of writers and poets in their native language and in English to get the messages across. Another interesting involvement of current Humphrey Masters program's candidates' being the voluntary editors for the English texts of the writers from all over the world... 2000-2001 Humphrey Fellow at the Humphrey Institute of the University of Minnesota Mr. Mesut Senol was awarded by the University of Minnesota with the "Distinguished Leadership Award for International in 2005". He worked as an editor at the Directorate General for Press and Information. A TV host, Mesut Senol is a freelance translator, and instructor on public relations, public speaking and voluntarism. His first poetry collection 'Name it by Yourself' was published in 2007, and his second poetry book was out in 2010 entitled 'Four Seasons One Love'. His poetry translations appeared in various magazines in different languages. As well as being a dubbing artist, Mr. Senol is member of Turkish PEN, Writers Syndicate of Turkey, Union of Book Translators and FILM-SAN Foundation. He is the Honour Prize laureate of Naji Naaman's Literary Prizes 2011.
