Coming this fall:

Celebrating 40 Years of African American Studies and American Indian Studies at the University of Minnesota
October 7 – December 5
Andersen Atrium - 2nd&3rd Floors
In 1969 the University of Minnesota established the African American and American Indian Studies Departments, the second and first such departments to be founded in the United States respectively. To celebrate the anniversary of this historic event, the University Libraries, with the African American Studies Department and the American Indian Studies Department, have put together a display of archival materials commemorating 40 years of history.

There will be a reception during the month of October. As soon as we have a date solidified, I will post that information. All are welcome!
