Laura Grbavcich Why here? Why would a girl who loves the sun and hates the winter choose to attend school in Minnesota? Let's just say I fell in love with the city. While searching for colleges, I was looking for a big school in a big city. Minnesota was the closest that fit what i was looking for, so I decided to visit campus. The city is beautiful, as is the campus. I love the view of the city from campus, but the feel of well.. campus. I just felt like i was at home, and could definitely spend four years in this place.

I'm not going to lie, I'm a sports addict and they definitely influenced my college choices. The Big Ten is where it's at. I'm very excited to attend a bunch of games and cheer for the Gophers! Also hoping that I get my hands on some hockey tickets.

I love the city, the school, and all of the people I've met so far. Oh that Minnesota Nice. I may just end up staying in this area after I graduate, and ditching my run off to California plan.
