Just been scouting around the internet to find out a little more about search engine optimisation (SEO). If you're not familiar with the term, in short, it's all about understanding how the search engines work and then effectively giving them what they're looking for.
Hopefully by following a few simple rules of thumb and guidelines you're supposed to be able to have your website rank higher in the search engines. For someone who has a blog (like me), it's definitely something I'm interested in. I mean who wouldn't want higher rankings and traffic?
Anyway, the hard thing is there's just so much crap out there on the internet. I mean just type in SEO services into google and you'll be served up 53,000,000 results. How the heck are you supposed to know who to listen to? To make matters worse often there's competing ideas on what needs to be done to make it all work.
