Hello! Welcome to the test page for the Biochemistry Club Journal Hub, or whatever it shall be named. Our goal is to provide undergraduate students with an active discussion community. Understanding how to search for and how to read scientific articles is an integral part of the biochemist's career; cultivating these skills throughout an undergraduate education is very important.

We meet twice a month for an hour and a half to discuss the chosen article(s). The current article for discussion, as well as meeting time and place, can be found as the most recent entry in the Journal Meetings category on the right. We also hope that faculty members will accept our invitation to present and discuss articles with us.

Using this website, board moderators will select, publish/link to, and comment on articles each week that may be of interest to members. In addition, members are encouraged to submit articles that they found compelling, and contribute to online discussions. While the online component supplements the meetings, they do not replace the value of our in-person discussions, so please join us!

If you have any questions, please email Katie (gril0024@umn.edu).
