Organizing Photos
I have lots of phots to organize and can never seem to get started. Do you have any tips. Perhaps if I set a monthly goal I would get more done. I'd love to hear other people's thoughts.

Hello! I LOVE your blog page!!
Well, first of all, I find it helpful to subcribe to a Scrapbooking magazine to help me with ideas, etc. Also, Archivers in Rosedale has a monthly newsletter that's free that has some great ideas and coupons :)
I've found that a good place to start is with the most current photos. It can seem so overwhelming to look at tons of photos (and I've got TONS) and not know where to start!! Just start with one set at a time, or pick a theme. I find that "themes" work really well for me. Like, "Trip to San Francisco" or "Kitty Pictures" or something like that. Then you don't just have tons of pages that are only chronological, and not in any other sort of order. Just remember to pick one thing and try not to think of the millions of things waiting to be scrapped!!!

I am new to the University and I would really like to meet other scrapbookers like myself. I have been scrappin' for many years. I like the blog as well and another good resource is Creative Memories but they are a direct sales company so you will need to find a consultant or go to CreativeMemories.com (start sorting your photos by events and start with the most recient first its easier to remember what is in the photos)
