Connections to 2005 Grad Student Cohort

Would you choose one person whom you would like to be connected with? Please create a comment and write the person's name. There are 12 people on Dr. Bauer's list (excluding 2 deferred), so one of us may choose two.

Here are the prospective students' names.
1. Andrews, Margaret
2. Kramer, Karen
3. Olsen, Laurelle
4. Peterson, Trenton
5. Plowman, Elizabeth
6. Roberts, Memory
7. Skinner, Brooke
8. Son, Seo Hee: Jaerim
9. Wilde, Jason Lee
10. Williams, Charlotte: Holli
11. Woodward-Kreitz, Mary
12. Zaloudek, Julie

I will start. I am willing to be an e-mail contact for "Seo Hee Son". Actually, I am already corresponding with her. I am going to help her settle down. I know that, for international students, the first a few months are difficult to survive in the U.S. without help.

Good luck with your final projects, exams, and papers!

Thank you Kristin. I heard that Paul, Faten, and Renee replied to Dr. Bauer via e-mail, so everyone is involved.

I can take Julie or Brooke too if you need me to. I'm working on Hal's project with Brooke and I remember Julie from welcome weekend. Let me know.

Mary

I contacted Jean about research interests to help us match..here's what she gave me:

Peggy Andrews--Mothers and everyday life
Karen Kramer--She is sociologist and statistican. She mentioned
something like cultural aspects and achievement of family members. (this
one is not exactly right).
Laurelle Olsen--American Indian families and family strengths. She is
in MFT and wants to look at some of the theraputic methods using the
cultural contexts.
Trenton Peterson--I don't remember. He is MFT and I think already has a
practice.
Libby Plowman--Issues of mental health and families. She has a
psychology undergraduate degree.
Memory Roberts--is fluent in Spanish and wants to understand more about
the community influence on the family. I thinking she also wants to
know more about parenting.
Brooke Skinner--MFT interests and has a strong interest in the adoption
research going on with Hal's project.
Seo Hee Son--has a degree in Family Resource Management. I can't
remember her exact interests
Jason Wilde--Fatherhood interest. He wants to work with Bill's
projects.
Charlie Williams--I can't remember. Holli has be in contact with her
and e-mailed me that she wanted to be the connection
Mary Woodward-Kreitz--Mary is a therapist and has taught for several
years in the sexuality field. She wants to expand herself and learn
more about research methods for studying various types of families.
Julie Zaloudek--in interested in older families and rural families.

I suppose I can do Jason Wilde since I'm working on both of Bill's projects.
