Gender or Social Norm Challenge
What would it take for you to be convinced that you act in some ways that are inconsistent with who you think that you are versus who you present to others? This is for everyone who claims that see no disparities between who they present as in various roles / situations compared to who they are outside those roles/ situations. What would this kind of self-discovery look like for you?

I already know that I act differently in different environments. I assume a more authoritative role when talking with my little brother and a more submissive role when talking with a professor.
But for someone who believes that they don't fill a role, we could record their actions and words.
It would be interesting to provide a spread sheet of the spoken conversations between a guy and his friends and between a guy and his girlfriend (both in private). My guess is the language would be completely different and the guy would assume a more masculine and authoritative role with his girlfriend and maybe, if he is more sensistive,

I think almost everybody knows that they act differently when around different environments. Or at least they should.
I know I act entirely different with my parents and siblings, by playing the role of a responsible young adult and also a good role model for my brothers and sister. But when Im around my friends I play the role as the funny goof who never quits joking around.
Its like there are different levels that each person either reaches too or lowers too and it all depends on who is around them and where they are.
I agree with Alex when he mentions recording peoples actions and words when they are around different groups of people.

I believe that people change when put into different environments or situations. I have a hard time with this one personally because my change isn’t as extreme between family and friends because my friends usually reflect the qualities that my family portrays. I like the record a person idea and feel that would really show the differences in people within a given environment and scenario. Another idea would be to see the level at which the person speaks and how their voice fluctuates in a given situation. I would assume the pitch and tone changes in different situations.
