My name is Michele Guindon and I am a junior at Carlson School of Management. As a freshman, I attended Concordia University in St. Paul for one year. The following year, I enrolled at Inverhills Community College to obtain my Associates Degree. My counselor, Milissa Troen, encouraged me to explore my options at Carlson and I applied. I am looking forward to the opportunities available at Carlson and am very excited!

I was slightly intimidated when I began this semester, but mostly I welcomed the challenge. The resources available at Carlson are outstanding and I plan on taking advantage of them. Right now, I work for an insurance brokerage 22 hours per week. I also am a PartyLite consultant part-time. Both give me the flexibility to earn income while I attend school while also allowing time to study. Overall, I am eager to get involved and make the most out of my time at Carlson.
