The purpose of the Strategic Management of Assets, Resources and Technology (SMART) Program is to develop and implement an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) strategy, focus, and culture as well as supporting processes and technology for all facility support and facility management type functions across the University of Minnesota System (U of M). This program will enable the U of M to become more proactive, achieve higher degree of standardization throughout the system, and become more enterprise and customer focused.
