I looked at a story about a recent study done on irregular heartbeat patients. The patients were treated with yoga at least three times a week.
There are numbers used throughout the story to explain how the study was done, including the number of patients, amount and type of treatment, and results.
The numbers in this story aren't overwhelming, they are simply used to explain what happened. The reporter uses only one number per sentence so they don't get too confusing.
The source of the numbers is the study, but the story is not extremely specific on where to find the study or whether any math was done to crunch the numbers for use in the story. More information on that would have been nice.
