I personally thought this ought to be posted as a comment in my prior entry, but Eric insisted that this is a new and exciting topic. It's obvious that he doesn't get out much if he thinks a mantle is exciting, but without further ado..... my mantle.....
lovely...but Moooo....I didn't win. The splotches rock.
Posted by: heather at February 2, 2005 12:36 PMI'm glad you consulted with Eric. An IMAGE in your blog IS new and interesting, I wish I had a new image in MY blog...moooooo
Posted by: heather at February 2, 2005 12:41 PMso that's pre-911 new york beaconing to you from above the mantel?
Posted by: Sherman at February 2, 2005 01:07 PMi mean beckoning.
Posted by: Sherman at February 2, 2005 01:08 PMYes, it's pre-9-11, but that's fine with me. You see tons of pictures of Paris from the 1950's or 30's.... so why not NYC from the 1990's? Plus, I would ideally like a photo of Minneapolis (that I have taken myself)..... but I needed something above the fireplace until I get around to taking that photo and buying a camera that can blow pictures up to 2'x3' without becoming blocky.
Posted by: Generation Bob at February 2, 2005 02:04 PMi think you should invite more debate on your apartment decoration by putting up a different photo each day for us to dissect.
Posted by: Sherman at February 2, 2005 04:36 PMI was actually thinking something similar... I was wondering what other corners of my apartment I should take pictures of for future blog entries. But should I have you guy what a certain room looks like, or should I just post it for discussion? (I was thinking the latter unless others are keen on guessing)
Posted by: Generation Bob at February 2, 2005 05:14 PMYAY for more apartment pics! Howza bout a close up of that interesting-looking porcelain stuff you made?
Posted by: Eric at February 2, 2005 07:44 PMInsides of food cupboards, the toilet flusher, and laundry basket (hamper?). Closet guts and toolboxes are good too, and junk drawers, if you have one of them..
BTW Does Eric have a mantel? That may explain something, I don't either...
