Feng Shui

For Heather, more Feng Shui tips from the article:

  • Where you live reflects your internal world. If you leave light bulbs burned out, what part of your life is burned out? If your house is cluttered, what is cluttering your life?
  • Feng Shui is purpose driven. Why do you have what you have? Why do you decorate the way you do? Since everything is purpose driven, surround yourself with things you love. Don’t take a crappy chair because you’re cheap; find a way to use that space so you walk through your house thinking “I really love my house.”
  • Decorating is a process. As you grow, your tastes will change. Don’t feel locked into certain designs, styles, pictures, etc. Feng Shui doesn’t mean simple, Asian-looking livingrooms.
  • If you can’t find peace in your home, you’ll never find peace inside you.

One magazine down.

This is great. Now can you explain to me the Feng Shui of web page and blog design. Like why does the *calendar* not reach across the sidebar like the rest of the categories? Is your internal calendar not in sync with the rest of your life? Are there not enough days to do all the things you want to do? Is there a Dvorak calendar out there that might help?

Eric, Last night I dreamt that you put two plastic ties (that secure a ream of paper) into my wallet. I was infuriated that you had stretched out my wallet, but even madder that you somehow got access to my wallet. Why would I dream about you being a pest? It seems so out of character...

i'm grateful to you for explaining the principles of feng shui which I never knew or cared to know. now i think these are cool and worth things to think about. sad when something becomes trendy and you (I) just want to shut it out. Out, out, damn feng shui!
