I can't get no satisfaction.

A weekend, devoid of satisfaction and all reasonable facsimiles thereof:

  • Finally finished my Paul Feig book... I enjoyed it too much and want to know what happened next in his life. Unfortunately his other book is a prequil. Will resort to stalking.
  • Saw FlightPlan. It tried to be psychological... it tried to be action... it tried to be drama... but it only succeeded at sucking. I have a strong urge to rent a Hitchcock thriller to cleanse the pallet.
  • Wanted to buy the perfect shirt for improv-Steve, but Target only had XL, XXL and XXXL. (And the neck felt tight even with XL… I need loose necks or I gag all day… particularly if I plan to sleep.)
  • Played 3 board games and was crushed mercilessly.
  • Visited a new friend who never answered the door. Should you ever just show up unannounced? I was probably snubbed… (I could see myself ignoring an uninvited guest since I ignore unsolicited phone rings.)

Did you skip the epilogue?

... if you plan to sleep all day?
... you can always take up the art of hiding when people ring your doorbell. It's been done. Not by me, of course.

if you played above board, you might not get crushed so often.

Underblog: I read the epilogue, but 2 pages did not quench my thirst for Paul's life.

Roger: Braeburn apples are my favorite, but I prefer bananas. See my Tues, Oct 4th, post.

Heather: I have no idea what board you speak of, but your comments are usually well-guided, so I will agree to use that board.

" Played 3 board games and was crushed mercilessly."
..i'm sorry GB, I just figured you got crushed because you were playing under the board...
