Vacationing

Been vacationing in Illinoissssss:

• met some of my sister's friends (argh: new people), but found one i could ruthlessly make fun of (sigh: back to my comfort zone).
  
• been living an unicumbered life. heavy coat (great pockets), water bottle (proper hydration = happiness) and backpack (entertainment) usually accompany me everywhere I go (even movies). Today, i left most of that and didn't even have my wallet with me (thanks mom and dad for lunch).
  
• love thin, crispy apple rings with cinnamon. my grocer only sells those and sour apple. sis' store had 6 kinds. tears of jealousy... trying not to covet dried apple selection.
  
• saw my sister's excellent senior percussion rectial. downer: no finlundia. upper: watching her make mistakes, storm off stage and bring on an ensemble to play with her. (It was all part of the act, as those of us in show biz say...)
