warning: minnesota was thrust in an arctic desert.
mn air moisture and precipitation is currently less than phoenix, az.
do not fall for the arctic desert mirage. my grandpappy is not beating nanna fargis at ping-pong. i repeat, previous generation[bob] is not beating nanna fargis. you are actually witnessing a 35mm photo of arctic air.
Posted by steveh at January 30, 2007 05:20 PMi had just been admiring the pong table ingenuity over in the straktohome. what greatness that i can now see another angle on the jury-rigging that has gone on here. and, what exactly has gone on is still in question.
Posted by: dsplit at January 30, 2007 07:35 PMit seems like a door on a chair... a door with legs, that is (insert whistle reserved for legs usually found in skinny cut jeans fitted by oprah)
Posted by: gb at January 30, 2007 10:47 PMokay just for the record, my nanna never played ping pong. and she definitely isn't doing it now.
Posted by: fargis at January 31, 2007 01:29 AMObviously, that is a coffee table, which has been atop a pleather arm chair. However, the net appears to be non-standard.
Posted by: Underblog at January 31, 2007 07:05 AMunderblog, you need to kindly follow the link gb has provided to alternate view of the contraption. it is no mere coffee table. my question is, Is the coffee table there for more height? to deal with the door knob, to stabalize? and, since I already violated my one question intention: Do you think they take the door off the hinge every time they want to play? What a great door! Especially since it has that whole swingable top feature! It's fun *and* games the the arctic air retreat!
