movies for movie makers

once or twice a year i watch a movie that makes me excited to make movies. this year's lucky prize goes to "the science of sleep", suggested by dsplit. quirky, funny, real, absurd. everything made out of cardboard made me laugh. one on hand, i'm glad someone made it. on the other, i'm upset i didn't get to. i also ate ice-cream tonight.

the funny thing is that i've not yet seen the film. i will though once fall and all things internetic and filmic in my life return.

GBob,

It was inspiraional was it not? The second viewing was less emotional(for me) and more intense. Th cardboard=very pleasing and I loved the baby piano/typewriter thing that Charlotte whacked out some knitting on. Lots to see. The Giant Robot online store sells a dvd of the directors work with The White Stripes and some other cool misc stuff. Worth watching. What else have you been watching?
