In order to be a successful leader you first need an open mind. It is essential when coming up with business/group strategies that as a leader you are flexible and that you don't overlook what may seem to be minimal details because they can actually turn out to be an opportune angle towards a new solution. Using your resources to envelope your entire audience/consumers is a vital step in adaptive leadership. Straying from the normal business plan and being aware of the picture as a whole can only further benefit your business options.

Leadership is an interesting concept. Leaders are the first to get the glory, but also the first to take the blame. They are loved, and they are hated, all dependent on their decisions, how they lead the group, and how they treat their followers. A great leader is one who not only takes their needs into account, but one who also considers the needs of the least amongst them. When faced with situations where the needs of the group are different than that of the leader, a good leader will step back and realize that he is just one person of the whole unit, and make the decision that is best for the group as a whole. A great leader is also one who doesn't let his position of power go to his head. It can be very easy for the power of being the leader of people to consume oneself, but once that happens it is a slippery slope towards becoming a leader of poor ethics. Leadership is very important, but is a very fragile situation that must be treated with upmost respect.
