Volunteering: Week 5

Today there were nearly half as many people as normal. We let the women that came work on whatever they felt necessary. One woman worked on navagating the internet and using her e-mail. Another woman worked on reading and writing in english. A third woman worked on creating a resume for a new job. The advisor and I walked around as ususal and helped the women with what they needed help on. I feel that they are progressing well with their ability to read, write, type, and function on the computer. Two of the women also took a test on the english language. They seemed to be doing rather well. Overall, this class period was rather successful.
