Emerging Definition of Leadership

Based on this week's reading of leadership, I have come to understand that to be the best leader you can be it is important you understand what your ethical values are. It is hard to truly understand what your ethical self is because we tend to let other things influence us such as "our upbringing, social construction, religious outlook" (Elder & Paul, 2006, pp.6). According to Kidder, "choices are tough when values are well defined".To be an effective, efficient, leader it is crucial to be able to make decisions despite how hard they are to make.
