Abuse suspect at Oprah's school out on bail

Tiny Virginia allegedly abused seven students, the youngest being 13 years old, was released on bail after she pleaded not guilty on Monday.
She had been formally charged with 13 counts of abusing and assaulting students at Oprah Winfrey's school for girls in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The prosecutor for the case said Virginia held a position of trust at the school for being the girls' matron, but that abused that trust.
The CNN article included many quotes from Oprah, the prosecutor, and other people involved in the case, so it was informative.
They could have included more quotes, not just attribution, to people involved in the case because they quoted Winfrey several times in the article.

18 workers were killed in oil accident in Gulf of Mexico Tuesday

Eighteen workers were killed and seven more were missing when a portable drilling rig crashed into an oil platform during a storm in the Gulf of Mexico Tuesday.
Sixty-one other workers were rescued, a staement from Petroleos Mexicanos said.
The accident also created a gas and oil leak that was not expected to be controlled for three to five days.
The accident had been caused because of the powerful storm where winds had reached 80 mph and waves reached 26 feet.
The article was brief, without much explanation or statement.
I would think that CNN would provide more detail because 18 people died.
I think they could have gotten more quotes or perspectives on the incident.

Italian men paid to move out of parents' home

An interesting article was written on foxnews.com in connection to another article about Italian men who are paid to move out of their homes.
The average age an Italian man moves out of his parents' home is 36.
So the program was started to encourage more men to leave at an earlier age.
The article has human and online sources.
One of their major sources then was this piece written online from the Daily Telegraph in the U.K.
An economist and the government in Italy were cited as their sources.
The Daily Telegraph states much more about the program, including how much money is going to be given and all the other details of why it is important.
One of the main reasons why men stay at home so long is because of the high cost of living and low job market, so the Italian government hopes to change all that with this program helping students with finances,

Missing British girl's parents named suspects

The story is of a missing British girl's parents becoming suspects in the four-month old case. Msnbc's coverage of the event was not as journalistically balanced as it could and should have been.
The title of the aritle was "Missing U.K. girl's parents want to go home". It was fitting because the article focused on the parents, who being interrogated for several hours, just wanted to return back to Britain.

On the other hand, financial contributions are also a part of this global story, but sacrely mentioned in the story. Cnn.com tellls a similar story. This news site focused on the opinion of the grandparents.
There was speculation in both stories of accounts from police, also sparked by traces of blood found in the rental car and apartment of the McCanns. In the msnbc.com account, there were two pictures, one of the parents kissing on the street which seemed a little bit inappropiate for a news piece of such grave content.
