The Institute for Engineering in Medicine's 2011 Educational Symposium, "The Heart-Brain Connection," will cover the topics of basic and applied research, clinical symptoms of heart/brain interactions, prevention and clinical management, and surgical treatments and resuscitation.

Open to members of the University community and representatives of local industry. Early registration is suggested.

Cost: U attendees, free; non-U attendees, $50.
