Collaborative Health Care Event on March 31

Come begin to work with other pre-health professionals and develop strategies to work collaboratively. Dr. Schondelmeyer, a world expert in health care systems, will begin the night speaking about team-based implications of health care reform.

AMCAS: Applying to Medical School

Applying to medical school this summer? If so, you will likely be submitting your applications through a centralized application system, called AMCAS, which is used by most U.S. medical schools.

Attend this information session and learn about the AMCAS application process: from how to categorize your coursework on the form, to establishing the best timetable for yourself and knowing how to plan for secondary (supplemental) application materials. We will review the entire application process and provide you with information on how to plan for a strong application.

Workshop: "What is Professionalism?"

What does it mean to "be professional"in the workplace and why is this important? Attend the What is Professionalism? Panel where a small group of employers from various industries will help us answer these very questions.

Discussion will focus on topics such as professional communication, appearance, attitude, building professional networks (in-person and on-line) and some fundamental professional etiquette tips that can apply across types of jobs, industries and organizations. Help ensure that you can be successful in any of your current as well as future positions by joining us for this great event!
