Project Ideas for 3741
I have to admit that I really haven't had much time to think about this yet. But, so far, I'm considering writing a book (i.e., with chapters). Maybe it will be sort of a documentary on my volunteer experience at Franklin Learning Center. Or, maybe I will try writing a story. Hmmm...I could interview my mom about the experiences she's had working as a first grade teacher at a school in a poor neighborhood with immigrants from all over, who speak many different languages, and the challenges she's faced in her work. Then again, as I a psychology major in addition to English, maybe I'll write a informational report on literacy, presenting scientific research that has been done on the subject. I'll just need to narrow down to a specific topic.
That's all I've got for now. Well, at least I got this blog started.
