Mars Rover reaches rim of deep crater
The Mars rover Opportunity reached the rim of a deep crater Wednesday after an arduous 21-month trek, marking a milestone in its exploration for clues about the Martian past.
The "Victoria Crater" is 230 feet deep and a half a mile wide, and it took the Rover 21 months to reach it. They are now planning on how to get inside.
This article is very interesting to me because it is a telling story of whether or not there was potential life outside of our planet. It is entriguing to know whether or not we are alone in the Universe, and this crater may suggest otherwise.
